The US Department of Energy sold 1 million barrels of gasoline from reserves on the eve of the holiday
To reduce prices at gas stations before Independence Day (July 4), the US Department of Energy sold 1 million barrels of gasoline from the reserve.
Gasoline from the northeastern reserve was sold to five companies, the average selling price of fuel was $2.34 per gallon.
The release of gasoline reserves, as the department believes, will increase the supply of fuel on the market during the period of increased travel by car in holidays.
According to the American Automobile Association (AAA), the average retail price of gasoline in the United States today is $3,501 per gallon.
