The Basmanny District Court of Moscow registered two administrative cases against anti-fascist Stepan Zimin. “Caution, news” drew attention to the cards.
Zimin is accused of “discrediting” the army (Part 1 of Article 20.3.3 of the Administrative Code) and petty hooliganism (Part 2 of Article 20.1 of the Administrative Code). No hearings have yet been scheduled for either case. Under the first article, an anti-fascist faces a fine of up to 50 thousand rubles, and under the second — a fine of up to two and a half thousand rubles or administrative arrest for up to 15 days.
Zimin’s detention became known on July 1. According to the Moscow Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the reason for the arrest was a tattoo on the man’s neck “with an obscene expression addressed to the armed forces of the Russian Federation.”
The day before, the founder of the “Male State” Vladislav Pozdnyakov published in the telegram channel video of a conflict between a Moscow resident and Zimin. In the video, an unknown man looks at a tattoo with the inscription “Russian warship, go fuck yourself” on the neck of an anti-fascist, after which he begins to push him with the words “Are you for crests?” and calls him a “faggot,” “scum,” and a “fucking accomplice.”
The next day, Pozdnyakov and the Ministry of Internal Affairs published a video recording of Zimin made at the police department. In the video, the anti-fascist asked for forgiveness for the fact that he “offended a lot of people, including the guys who are now in the Northern Military District,” and promised to remove the tattoo.
In 2014, the Zamoskvoretsky District Court of Moscow sentenced Zimin to three and a half years in a general regime colony. He was found guilty of participating in mass riots (Part 2 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code) and using violence against police (Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code) during the protests on Bolotnaya Square on May 6, 2012. Zimin was released in the summer of 2015, having received parole.
