MOSCOW, July 2Russia, together with the rest of the multipolar world, is fighting against the neocolonial practices of the West in various fields, and with the reduction of Western monopolies, the tools of the neocolonialists are also being reduced, said the head of the commission Federation Council for the Protection of State Sovereignty Andrey Klimov.
“We are fighting against these neocolonial practices. When, for example, the monopoly of the dollar disappears — and it disappears, including as a result of the activities of BRICS, the SCO and so on — then, of course, their tools are reduced, these new colonialists,” — Klimov said during a briefing at the Rossiya Segodnya media group. 
< br />When the monopoly of neo-colonialists in technology and the system of international organization of legal relations is overcome, the West’s opportunities for outright robbery also narrow, the senator added.
«In this regard, of course, we are moving very positively. States and associations of these states, no matter what they are called, but these states are on their own and have only just entered a period of growth. It cannot be said that they are fully consolidated and have reached the peak of their effectiveness,” the parliamentarian concluded.
