In Kharkov, 14 people were injured as a result of a Russian airstrike. The regional prosecutor's office reports this.
Among the wounded are a baby and an 8-year-old boy.
The agency clarifies that the city was attacked with three UMPB D-30 ammunition. One of them fell in an open area in the vicinity of Kharkov, and two more in the Kiev district of the city. Private and multi-storey buildings, a post office, a service station and a gym were damaged.
The prosecutor's office announces the start of a pre-trial investigation under the article on violation of the laws and customs of war (part 1 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, in his evening address, also spoke about the increase in the number victims of today's Russian shelling of the Dnieper — up to five people. According to the head of the regional administration, Sergei Lysak, the number of victims in the city also increased — to 53 people. Four of them were seriously injured.
