MOSCOW, July 4 Moscow football club «Lokomotiv» on announced on its official website the signing of a contract with defensive midfielder Artem Timofeev.
The agreement with the 30-year-old player was concluded for one year with the possibility of extension for another season. Timofeev will wear number 94 at Lokomotiv.
A graduate of the Moscow «Spartak» academy, Timofeev played 32 matches for the main team of the «red-whites» and scored one goal, becoming the champion of Russia (2016/17) and the bronze medalist of the RPL (2017/18). In 2019-2020 he was rented by Krylia Sovetov Samara, and in 2020-2021 by Grozny Akhmat, with whom he signed a three-year contract in the summer of 2021. The midfielder played 118 games for Akhmat, scored 15 goals and made 9 assists.
