MOSCOW, July 3. The digital art festival competition “Hour of Digital” has started in the New Tretyakov Gallery, the project’s press service reported.
The start was given during the opening of the exhibition «The Nature of the Object. Modern Design and Traditions» in the New Tretyakov Gallery.
«The Hour of Digital» is the world's first network festival of digital art, the result of which will be the display of the works of media workers on the digital screens of participating cities.
Artists can submit their works for five nominations: “IT science-art”, “New facets of reality”, “Cities of the future”, “Universe of cyborgs”, “Parks of the future”, “Heritage in digital” .
«Applications for participation in the «Hour of Numbers» are accepted from July 1 to September 16, then the stage of selecting finalists will begin. And on October 4, on the “Night of Innovations,” the media works of the open call finalists will be shown simultaneously on the screens of Moscow and Russian cities for one hour,” explained the project’s press service.
The organizers of the festival are the Moscow Innovation Agency and SAS Metagallery.
