
MEXICO CITY, July 3 Representatives of the governments of Venezuela and The United States held its first virtual meeting, at which it agreed to continue communication to build trust and improve relations, maintaining dialogue in a respectful and constructive manner, while it should be limited to points previously agreed upon in Qatar, said a member of the Venezuelan negotiating team, Parliament Speaker Jorge Rodriguez.< "We have concluded a virtual meeting with the US Government delegation, where we expressed our rejection of the misrepresentations of the nature of this dialogue that have been repeatedly published by US government representatives. We declare that we will always answer with the truth. We insist that the dialogue must be limited to what has been agreed upon in Qatar, and that in order to further restore mutual trust and relations between governments, it is necessary to respect the principles of self-determination, sovereignty and reciprocity,” Rodriguez said on the social network X.
According to a politician who, together with the governor of the state of Miranda, Hector Rodriguez Castro, participated in the negotiations with the US government, following their first meeting after a long period of time, the parties agreed to work to build trust and improve relations, and to maintain communication in a respectful and constructive manner.
