WASHINGTON, July 3 The vast majority of American citizens support mandatory mental testing for politicians over 75, according to a survey by YouGov and the Economist.
As follows from the results of the study, 79% of respondents support the proposal to conduct mandatory testing of the cognitive abilities of politicians over 75 years of age. At the same time, 9% opposed such an initiative, and 12% could not answer the question posed.
The survey was conducted in the United States from June 30 to July 2. 1608 respondents took part in it, the permissible error of the result was 3.1%.
