Director of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) David Vigneault has announced his intention to retire, as announced by Public Safety Minister Dominique LeBlanc.
LeBlanc thanked Vigneault for his dedication to serving Canadians and wished him well in the next phase of his career. It is not yet known exactly when Vigneault will leave his position and who will succeed him.
David Vigneault became head of CSIS in June 2017. This Canadian intelligence agency was founded in 1984.
