MOSCOW, July 4, Andrey Mikhailov. General Director of the Moscow » Dynamo Pavel Pivovarov said that during the summer transfer window the club is also monitoring players who are in the status of free agents.
Earlier, the chairman of the board of directors of Dynamo Dmitry Gafin said that the club would make targeted transfers in the summer transfer window. Following the results of the 2023/24 season, defender Georgy Dzhikia, who left the Moscow Spartak, and midfielder Anton Miranchuk and striker Artem Dzyuba, who left the capital's Lokomotiv, became free agents. The summer transfer window in the Russian Premier League (RPL) is open from June 14 to September 5.
“We keep an eye on different players — both players who are under contracts with other clubs who can be considered as transfers, and free agents too,” Pivovarov said, answering a question about how much “Dynamo” is interested in such players who are in the status of free agents as ex-captains of the Russian national team Dzyuba and Dzhikia.
The agency's interlocutor avoided a direct answer to the question of how much Dynamo is willing to spend on newcomers in the summer transfer window. “We do not comment on finances — we are in a competitive position, so some information cannot be disclosed,” explained the general director of the “blue and white”.
The new season of the Russian Championship starts on July 20. “Dynamo” will meet Voronezh “Fakel” on their field on this day.
