ST. PETERSBURG, July 4 The Bank of Russia did not substantively consider the issue of selling the Moscow Exchange’s share in the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange, said the head of the regulator Elvira Nabiullina at a press conference within Financial Congress.
“The decision must be made by the shareholder, the shareholder is the Moscow Exchange. And we are a shareholder of the exchange. We have not substantively considered this issue yet,” she answered the question about agreeing on the sale of the Moscow Exchange’s share in the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange.
Moscow Exchange owns 13.1% in the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange.
