MOSCOW, July 5 Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that he learned the opinion of Russian President Vladimir Putin on the prospects for a ceasefire in Ukraine and peace talks and the sequence in which they should take place.
«Peace will not come by itself, we need to work for it. I discussed exactly the ways to achieve peace with Mr. Putin today. I wanted to know what the shortest path to ending the war is. I wanted to hear and heard the opinion of Mr. President on three important issues: what he thinks about the peace initiatives that are currently in place, what he also thinks about a ceasefire and peace talks, in what sequence they can be held… And the third thing that interested me was his vision of Europe after the war. I am grateful to Mr. President for «an open and honest conversation,» Orban said at a briefing following talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
