ASTANA, July 3 Negotiations of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s meeting with Turkish President Recep Erdogan in Astana ended; they lasted about an hour.
The conversation between the two leaders took place in the meeting room at the Ritz Carlton hotel, the correspondent reports.
Putin flew to Astana on the morning of July 3 to participate in the SCO summit. The event will be held under the slogan “Strengthening multilateral dialogue — striving for sustainable peace and development.” The summit participants plan to sign a package of 24 joint documents, as well as adopt a final declaration and statement confirming the commitment of the association participants to the principles of good neighborliness and unity.
