The Ministry of Defense reported that during the night of July 5, air defense systems shot down 24 drones in the Krasnodar Territory and Rostov Region.
As a result of an attack on the Krasnodar city of Primorsko-Akhtarsk, a six-year-old girl died, said the governor of the region, Veniamin Kondratyev. Five more people, including a child, were injured and were hospitalized.
According to Kondratyev, drone debris damaged a three-story apartment building and its residents were evacuated. The attack also damaged a power substation that supplies a “significant” part of the city, the governor added.
In the Rostov region, as a result of a drone attack, landscape fires broke out on the left bank of the Don — in Rostov and the Azov region, wrote the head of the region Vasily Golubev. According to him, there were no casualties.
The Astra Telegram channel, citing local residents, claims that a branch of the Novoshakhtinsky Oil Products Plant caught fire in the Rostov region.
