Biden: Democratic leaders will not ask to withdraw from the election race
Joe Biden
US leader Joe Biden during an interview with a TV channel ABC expressed confidence that Democrats in Congress would not advocate removing his candidacy from the election race, writes the Star website.
The current president said that he even spoke with them, including James Clyburn (elected from the state of South Caroline). According to Biden, no one said anything about leaving the fight early.
Biden is confident that in the future it is unlikely that any of the Democrats will ask him to leave the fight for the presidency. He considers such a scenario to be purely hypothetical.
Previously it became known that the former CEO of Intuit and PayPal Bill Harris, on behalf of a group of donors, made a statement that a group of donors to the US Democratic Party would donate $2 million if the current president USA Joe Biden will refuse to participate in the elections.
