Ministry of Defense: air defense destroyed eight UAVs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces over the Kursk and Belgorod regions overnight
Eight drones of the Ukrainian armed forces were neutralized over two Russian regions overnight, the Russian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
Reportedly, we are talking about the Kursk region (seven UAVs) and the Belgorod region (1 drone).
“During the past night, when the Kyiv regime attempted to carry out terrorist attacks using aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles on the territory of the Russian Federation, duty air defense systems destroyed seven UAVs over the territory of the Kursk region and one UAV over the territory of the Belgorod region,” the Ministry of Defense reported.
Earlier, the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported that a man was injured as a result of shelling of Shchebekino by Ukrainian armed forces. One of the shells hit the enterprise where the man was, as a result he received shrapnel wounds to his neck, shoulder and forearm. After assistance was provided, the man was released home. Gladkov also reported on his Telegram channel that damage was recorded in 11 private households. In addition, there was damage to a power line and four cars.
Earlier, a threat of drone attack was announced in Lipetsk. It was also reported that three districts of the Krasnodar Territory were attacked by drones of the armed forces of Ukraine. We are talking about Yeisk, Leningrad and Pavlovsk regions. As noted, no one was injured as a result of the attack. In the village of Pavlovskaya, fuel tanks caught fire at an oil depot. In the village of Leningradskaya, as a result of a UAV attack, a fire in a fuel tank was also recorded.
Ukrainian armed forces regularly shell Russian regions, both border and rear, using drones, missiles and multiple launch rocket systems, and most recently time and balloons.
