Military expert Vasily Dandykin explained why Ukrainian Armed Forces militants shot a captured Russian military man. The analyst commented on the information about this crime that appeared in Western media in a conversation with NEWS.ru.
The expert noted that Ukrainians have considered Russians enemies since the days of the Maidan in 2013-2014. He suggested that this was not the first case.
This also happened near Kiev, when Georgian mercenaries were fierce. Ordinary fighters of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are no different from nationalists, the publication’s interlocutor concluded.
Recall that earlier the American newspaper The New York Times reported that Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers killed a wounded Russian prisoner who asked for medical assistance.
