MOSCOW, July 5 British McLaren pilot Lando Norris showed the best time in the second free practice of the 12th stage of the Formula 1 championship — the British Grand Prix, which takes place at the Silverstone circuit.
The result was 1 minute 26.549 seconds. The second result was shown by his teammate, Australian Oscar Piastri (+0.331), and the third by Mexican Sergio Perez from Red Bull (+0.434). The current Formula 1 champion, the Dutchman Max Verstappen from Red Bull, was seventh (+0.684). Earlier on Friday, Norris also won the first free practice.
The third free practice and qualification will take place on Saturday. The main race will take place on Sunday.
