VELIKY NOVGOROD, July 5The research and production center (RPC) for controlling drone flights, created in the Novgorod region, has been accredited by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, reported the regional governor Andrei Nikitin in your Telegram channel.
He clarified that the Novgorod region was one of the first to apply for the creation of an NPC. The main topic was the development of electronic warfare and UAV flight control systems.
«Good news: our research and production center for drones was the first to be accredited by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. According to Alexey Chadayev, General Director of the ANO NPC Ushkuynik, this is a big step forward. Now the center, within the framework of the national project, will be able to apply for a subsidy for the purchase of equipment for our manufacturers,” said Nikitin.
As previously reported, in Veliky Novgorod, drone operators will study theory and practice at the airfield in Demyansk.
An electronic warfare center for UAVs was created in the Novgorod region in 2023. The region was included in the national project “Unmanned Aircraft Systems”. The application was supported by President Vladimir Putin and Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov.
