VOLGOGRAD, July 8 Candidate registration documents Four people applied for the post of head of Kalmykia, including the current head of the region, Batu Khasikov, reports the Election Commission of the republic.
According to the election commission, the acceptance of documents for registration of candidates for the post of head of Kalmykia ended on Sunday evening.
«In total, out of five nominated candidates, four candidates submitted documents for registration to the Election Commission of the Republic of Kalmykia: Mikhail Namruev (Communist Party of the Russian Federation), Yuri Khrushchev (LDPR), Aisa Bayanova («New People»), Batu Khasikov («United Russia»),» the election commission said in a statement.
It is noted that documents will be checked within ten days, and based on the results of the check, a decision will be made to register the candidate.
