ST. PETERSBURG, July 7. Due to bad weather, Emergencies Ministry employees in St. Petersburg went out 59 times to eliminate the threat or fall of trees and poorly reinforced structures, the city's Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
«Fire and rescue units of St. Petersburg made 59 trips to eliminate the consequences of the rampant elements. 39 of them were related to falling trees, 20 — to eliminate the threat of falling weakly secured structures,» the report says.
Earlier it was reported that heavy rain and wind began in St. Petersburg on Sunday evening.
