Rosaviatsiya will analyze the incident with a Superjet passenger plane at St. Petersburg Pulkovo Airport, as a result of which the engine of the passenger plane caught fire.
We would like to remind you that on the evening of Sunday, July 7, after the landing of the plane with 87 passengers on board, a technician reported that the aircraft's engine had caught fire.
According to the Federal Air Transport Agency, the disembarkation of the citizens on board was carried out as usual — the victims were among there are no passengers or crew of the plane.
It is specified that the air rescue team that arrived at the scene, based on the instructions, used foam extinguishing agents.
“Preliminary: no open flame was observed, smoke was recorded — information is being checked. The Federal Air Transport Agency is analyzing what happened and will give an assessment of the event,” the agency said in a statement.
Recall that a few days earlier in the Trans-Baikal Territory, an An-2 plane made an emergency landing and overturned. There were six people on board.
