A video of an attempt to recruit a Russian pilot to hijack a Tu-22M3 strategic bomber was shown by the Russian Federal Security Service, writes TASS.
It is stated that the serviceman was promised at least $2 million for this.

«No morals, no ethics. I immediately started with threats to my close relatives. He demanded that the aircraft be set on fire,” – the serviceman said.
Also, according to the pilot, the unknown person demanded data on the aircraft – side numbers, technical condition and others.
«He did not hide the fact that he was a representative of the Ukrainian special services. He offered to hijack a combat aircraft, but not just any aircraft, but a missile-carrying bomber – carrier of nuclear weapons&rdash; reported the pilot.
The military man reported what was happening to the command.
Recall that on July 8, the Russian FSB reported the prevention of the hijacking of the Tu-22M3. The department said that the pilot was offered Italian citizenship and a large sum of money. It was established that NATO representatives were behind this.
