Expert Delavard: the US and the European Union will soon have big problems that will affect NATO
French analyst, retired general Dominique Delavarde said that the North Atlantic Alliance will inevitably face economic difficulties in the near future.< /p>
He clarified that these difficulties will also affect military capabilities and the cohesion of NATO members. At the same time, the bloc's Russophobic policies will not change, but may decrease slightly.
“The good news is that the United States of America and the European Union will soon enter a period of great economic difficulties, which will have a serious impact on both opportunities bloc, and on the cohesion of the alliance,” Delavard noted.
According to him, under the new NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, the leadership of the alliance “will remain Russophobic and hawkish,” but the ability to act will be limited.
