MOSCOW, July 9 Several unnamed countries asked Armenia to remove the launched satellites Armsat-1 and Hayasat-1 from orbit, the Zhoghovurd publication reports, citing sources.
«According to various experts, satellites sent into space have become a problem for satellites of other countries, disrupting their work or part of their programs,» the publication noted.
According to the newspaper, Armenian Armsat satellites 1 and Hayasat-1 were launched unprofessionally and the calculations were carried out incorrectly. The newspaper suggested that the resignation of the Deputy Minister of High-Technological Industry of Armenia Avet Poghosyan is connected precisely with this. The official himself denies this, the material says.
In June, NASA reported that Armenia had signed an agreement with the United States on the principles and norms of behavior in space on the path to the exploration of the Moon, Mars and deep outer space.
