The assembly of machines has been established at an enterprise in the Lipetsk region. Previously, the company passed the certification procedure and received Vehicle Type Approval (VTA) for this model.
The Evolute brand was created by the Russian company Motorinvest in 2022. Initially, it was completely “green”: the i-Pro sedan, i-Joy, i-Sky and i-Jet crossovers are now sold under it – all with electric “filling”. This spring, the Evolute i-Space hybrid crossover joined the lineup. Now the Russian manufacturer presented this SUV at the Innoprom exhibition and talked about the start of its mass production at a plant in the Lipetsk region.

The company noted that Evolute i-Space has already passed the certification procedure and received VTTS (Vehicle Type Approval). It is known that the Russian manufacturer has already signed agreements with two suppliers on the localization of traction batteries: they are intended for all electric vehicles and hybrids produced at the Motorinvest plant.
Thus, Evolute engineers have already conducted laboratory tests of a domestically produced traction battery for the i-Joy electric crossover with the company «Autonomous Energy Systems». This battery demonstrated better performance compared to the serially supplied one from China: it has 15% more capacity and energy density, as a result, the SUV's range was increased to 450 km (according to the WLTС cycle).
Later this year, the company plans to finalize its own software and conduct road tests leading to certification tests. The company plans to begin installing locally produced batteries on the Evolute model in about six months. The i-Space will have a traction battery that will allow it to travel more than 125 km when driving on electric power alone.
The overall length of the seven-seater crossover is 4760 mm, and the distance between the axles is 2785 mm. The second and third rows of seats can be folded, creating a flat floor with luggage compartment. The list of equipment of the model includes acoustics with 12 speakers, an infotainment system with a 12.3-inch diagonal touchscreen, a wireless charging function for smartphones (there is a niche in the center console for this), climate control with an air purification function, front seats with ventilation and heating and electrically adjustable, as well as a panoramic roof with a sliding sunroof.
As part of the hybrid installation of the current Evolute The i-Space has a 178-horsepower electric motor (maximum torque — 300 Nm) and a battery with a capacity of 17.52 kWh, which is recharged from a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine with a capacity of 110 hp. The total output of the system is 287 hp. (435 Nm). The Evolute i-Space has only front-wheel drive. Fuel consumption – 5.5 liters per 100 km; total range is 1,150 km.
The recommended retail price of Evolute i-Space on the Russian market today is 3,360,000 rubles, and taking into account all current promotions and offers, the purchase will cost 2,999 000 rubles.
