MOSCOW, July 9. In Bataysk, rescuers took a chinchilla, a hamster and three cats out of a burning house, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported on the Telegram channel.

The roof of a four-story residential building on Voroshilova Street, 11, in Bataysk, caught fire this afternoon on an area of 500 square meters. Due to dense construction, residents of a neighboring building were also evacuated. Later, the fire area grew to 600 square meters. It was noted that firefighters evacuated people and animals.
