
MOSCOW, July 8 Prime Minister's motorcade India Narendra Modi arrived at the Carlton Hotel in Moscow, the correspondent reports.
Earlier on Monday, the Prime Minister of India flew to Russia, his plane landed at the capital's Vnukovo-2 airport.
Indian Prime Minister Modi's official visit to Russia will take place on July 8-9; this is his first trip to the Russian Federation in five years. Negotiations between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Modi will be held in Moscow, as the Kremlin specified, the heads of state will discuss the prospects for the further development of “traditionally friendly” Russian-Indian relations, as well as current issues on the international and regional agenda. The Kremlin noted that the agenda of the visit will be “rich, if not overloaded.” Negotiations will take place in narrow and expanded formats. According to the press secretary of the head of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin hopes that the heads of state will be able to communicate in an informal setting.
