Newsweek: Zelensky allows the start of peace negotiations
Ukrainian writer Sergei Maidukov, in his article for the American magazine Newsweek, reported that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky does not rule out the start of peace negotiations due to the difficult situation in the country.
“Now it has become it is clear that Zelensky is inclined towards negotiations,” said Maidukov.
According to him, one of the proofs is the fact that the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andrei Ermak reported the likelihood of Kiev inviting a Russian representative to the next conference on Ukraine .
The writer emphasized that Zelensky is currently facing a difficult choice. In particular, his agreement to peacefully resolve the conflict could deal a strong blow to Zelensky’s rating. At the same time, continuation of hostilities could lead to the collapse of Ukraine.
