MOSCOW, July 10 Representative of Kazakhstan Elena Rybakina defeated Ukrainian Elina Svitolina in the quarterfinals of Wimbledon, which takes place on grass courts in London.
The meeting ended with a score of 6:3, 6:2 in favor of the fourth-seeded Rybakina, who is a native of Moscow. Svitolina was seeded 21st. The tennis players spent 1 hour 1 minute on the court.
In the semi-final of the third Grand Slam tournament of the season, Wimbledon 2022 champion Rybakina will play against the winner of the match between Jelena Ostapenko (13) from Latvia and Czech Barbora Krejcikova (31).
