NATO now does not see a military threat from Russia, Stoltenberg said

BRUSSELS, 10 July NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at the summit in Washington said that the alliance does not currently see “an immediate military threat” from the Russian Federation.
“We do not currently see any immediate military threat against any of our NATO allies,” he told reporters.

According to him, Russia is now “too busy” with the military operation in Ukraine. However, the Secretary General claims that the threat of “cyber attacks and sabotage” allegedly comes from Russia.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, in an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson, explained in detail that Moscow is not going to attack NATO countries, in this there's no point. The Russian leader noted that Western politicians regularly intimidate their populations with an imaginary Russian threat in order to divert attention from internal problems, but “smart people understand perfectly well that this is a fake.”
