MOSCOW, July 9< /strong>Yulia Navalny, who was arrested in absentia by a Moscow court on Tuesday on charges of participation in an extremist community, faces 2 to 6 years in prison, according to the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
Today the Basmanny Court of the capital arrested Navalnaya for two months from the moment of detention on the territory of the Russian Federation or extradition. She has been put on the international wanted list.
The court clarified that Navalnaya is charged with participation in an extremist community (Part 2 of Article 282.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), this part of this criminal article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of 2 to 6 years, follows from the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
