MOSCOW, July 9 Spartak footballer Alexander Sobolev agreed According to the terms of the contract offered to him by Zenit St. Petersburg, the striker’s transfer should be completed within a couple of days, a source close to the situation said.
«Sobolev was satisfied with the conditions proposed by Zenit. The clubs must close the transfer within a couple of days,» the source noted.
Sobolev has been playing for Spartak since January 2020; he moved to the Moscow club from Samara's Krylya Sovetov. In total, the forward played 139 matches for the “red-whites”, in which he scored 58 goals and gave 32 assists. Together with Spartak, Sobolev became the silver and bronze medalist of the Russian Championship and won the National Cup (2022).
As part of the Russian national team, Sobolev played 15 matches and scored six goals.
