The private Cessna-172 plane that crashed in Tatarstan was making an excursion flight. There were four people on board, including one minor. The details were published by the press secretary of the Federal Air Transport Agency Artem Korenyako on his telegram channel.
The plane crashed in the Kamsko-Ustinsky district of the republic. With reference to the Central Investigation Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, it is reported that as a result of the incident, the aircraft received serious technical damage and caught fire.
“Only one man managed to survive, who was taken to a medical facility,” wrote Artem Korenyako.
It is clarified that the investigation of the plane crash will be carried out by the Interstate Aviation Committee with the participation of specialists from the Privolzhsky MTU of the Federal Air Transport Agency.
We recall that a few days earlier in the Trans-Baikal Territory, an An-2 plane made an emergency landing and overturned. There were six people on board.
