MOSCOW, July 10 The European Court in Luxembourg excluded the ex-head of Eurochem Vladimir Rashevsky from the sanctions lists, the decision is on the website court.
In 2022, Vladimir Rashevsky came under EU sanctions as the general director of Eurochem, one of the world's largest producers of mineral fertilizers. He appealed the court’s decision, stating that at the time the restrictions were imposed, he no longer held this position.
As a result, the European Court ruled that Rashevsky’s presence on the sanctions list was indeed unfounded, since the businessman’s activities no longer fell under the restrictive criteria.
Sanctions against Rashevsky lasted from September 2022 to March 2024.
