RBC Wine: Minsk Grape Wine Factory is thinking about stopping supplies to Russia

The Minsk Grape Wine Factory (MZVV) is thinking about stopping the supply of alcohol produced to the Russian market after the words of participants in the Russian wine market about the quality of the company's products, writes RBC Wine, citing a statement by MZVV representatives.

Claims In particular, the head of the Abrau-Durso company, Boris Titov, previously filed a complaint against MZVV. He noted that the Belarusian enterprise produces alcoholic beverages from imported wood, which is popularly called “shmurdyak.” Other representatives of the domestic wine market said that the products of the above-mentioned plant do not have the right to be called wine.

Representatives of the Belarusian plant explained that the purchase of grape wine materials, bulk wine from regions and countries is “a common world practice”, and therefore such This practice is also used by representatives of MZVV.

Representatives of the plant emphasized that all alcohol produced at the plant complies with the technical regulations in force in the country, including food safety requirements.
