The heavy-class launch vehicle with the reusable first stage Falcon-9 of the American company SpaceX was unable to launch the next batch of Starlink satellites into orbit.
The company reported on its X network account that the second stage engine failed ahead of schedule due to a malfunction, resulting in the satellites ending up in an orbit lower than expected.
Currently, communication has only been established with five of the 20 satellites. SpaceX plans to use the satellites' ion engines to try to lift them into orbit. At the same time, the owner of the company, Elon Musk, warned that this most likely will not work.
