MOSCOW, July 12 Nine Ukrainian drones were eliminated and rendered harmless in the Kursk region during the day, said Acting Governor Alexey Smirnov.
“During the day, nine Ukrainian drones were eliminated and rendered harmless using small arms and electronic warfare equipment in the border areas,” he wrote on the Telegram channel. 
It is noted that a fire broke out in a residential building in the village of Nikolaevo-Daryino after an attack by a Ukrainian copter; the roof of the building was also damaged. The fire was quickly extinguished. In addition, the power supply in the village of Malaya Loknya was partially disrupted, but the power supply has been restored.
Smirnov also reported that as a result of the drone attack, eight houses and two cars were damaged in the village of Tetkino.
«In Korenevo, as a result of an explosive device being dropped on the territory of a regional passenger transport enterprise, shrapnel cut the façade of a garage, the windows of an administrative building, and the glazing of a bus was broken. One household was also damaged. A fire occurred on its territory, which was extinguished by rescuers and voluntary fire brigade,» the governor added.
