MOSCOW, July 13 Members of the Kis-Kis group responded to the accusation of the head of the Safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, of calling against the special operation. The official appeal appeared on the group's page on the social network VKontakte.
«The Kis-Kis group, consisting of all participants, never called on anyone to protest against the SVO, never “donated” the Armed Forces of Ukraine and did not call for anyone to do this. in what form. There is no evidence or confirmation of this, because it simply did not happen,” the statement says.
The band members also noted that, despite the difficulties with concert activities in Russia, they did not move to Europe.
“In March, the group participated in raising funds for families affected by the terrorist attack in Crocus, and was also one of the first to help residents of Belgorod affected by the shelling. The group called on its listeners to join in this on social networks. This is a confirmed fact!” — indicated in the post.
In conclusion, the musicians added that they absolutely do not understand the motivation for the post on Mizulina’s Telegram channel.
Earlier, the head of the Safe Internet League announced that she would contact the Prosecutor General's Office to check the Kis-Kis group, which, according to her, opposes the special operation and disguises its concerts as cat shows. She cited an event in February as an example and said that the team plans to hold “exhibitions” in September in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
