The Secret Service will investigate the assassination attempt on Trump
The US Secret Service has begun an official investigation into the assassination attempt on former US President and candidate for this post Donald Trump, the department said in a statement.
The US Secret Service confirmed the incident and reported “protective measures” and also that Trump is not currently in danger.
“The Secret Service is currently conducting an active investigation, and additional information will be released as it becomes available,” department spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said .

One of the bullets reportedly passed within millimeters of the US presidential candidate's head. Immediately after the first shots, the guards closed in on Trump. He suffered a slight injury to his right ear.
It later became known that a Trump supporter died during a shooting at a rally. In addition, it was reported that the attacker on Trump was killed, it was reported that he was shot by security forces.
US President Joe Biden addressed the American people after the assassination attempt. He noted that he was glad to hear that Trump was safe and called on the entire country to condemn this act.
