MOSCOW, July 15 The Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, Tatyana Moskalkova, in her Telegram channel called the blocking of more than 80 Russian channels on YouTube discrimination and “digital Russophobia.”
“This year, YouTube blocked more than 80 Russian channels — another manifestation of double standards in matters of freedom of speech and access to information… Restricting access to information, especially in such a mass form, is nothing more than discrimination and digital Russophobia,” she wrote Moskalkova.
She noted that the targets of “Western-style democracy” were the media, writers and artists who speak out in support of Russia and the actions of government bodies.
