Head of the State Duma Committee Gavrilov explained how to save on utilities in the summer
Russians have the opportunity to save on utility bills in July and August, told Rossiyskaya Gazeta Chairman of the Committee of the State Duma of the Russian Federation on Property, Land and Property Relations Sergei Gavrilov.
First of all, the parliamentarian advised installing meters. During the holiday period, resource consumption is minimal, and the difference between the standard and actual consumption will be significant.
The head of the committee also advised redistributing your schedule so that maximum activity occurs during daylight hours. And when leaving the apartment for a long time, do not forget to turn off all electrical appliances from the sockets, Gavrilov added.
In many cities, heating is turned off in May, but there are exceptions. If the house has technical capabilities, turn off the batteries yourself using shut-off valves. “You will save on heating costs,” explained Gavrilov. Next, the heat meter readings must be transferred to the management company.
According to the deputy, refusing unnecessary services will also help to save money. During your vacation, you can temporarily turn off your landline phone, if you have one, as well as the Internet and cable TV.
