BERLIN, July 16 In Germany, critics are banned for right-wing extremism migration policy and Israeli military actions in Gaza, the political magazine COMPACT, searches are being carried out in the monthly's buildings in four federal states, the country's Ministry of Internal Affairs reports on its official page.

"Today I banned the right-wing extremist magazine COMPACT. He is the central voice of the right-wing extremist scene. This magazine conducts unacceptable propaganda against Jews, against people with a migration background and against our parliamentary democracy,” the department’s statement quoted its head, Nancy Feser, as saying.
According to the ministry, since early Tuesday morning, in connection with the publication premises in the federal states of Brandenburg, Hesse, Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt are being searched. The Ministry of Internal Affairs prohibits any continuation of previous activities; violation of this prohibition will be considered a criminal offense.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the publication disseminated “anti-Semitic, racist, hostile to minorities, historically revisionist” content and conspiracy theories. At the same time, the publication’s website published several materials devoted to the anti-Semitism of migrants or German citizens with a migration background who are outraged by Israel’s actions in Gaza. The site also contains materials criticizing Israel's methods of fighting Hamas.
On July 13, the magazine's website published an interview with the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
Monthly issues of COMPACT have been published since 2010 with a circulation of 40 thousand copies, the magazine also had its own website and YouTube channel. The editor-in-chief of the magazine is a certain Jürgen Elsaesser. The publication is believed to maintain close ties with the Alternative for Germany party and other European New Right movements.
