MOSCOW, July 15. Representatives of Russia should be present at the second peace summit, said Vladimir Zelensky, whose words are reported by the Strana.ua publication in his Telegram channel.
““I believe that representatives of Russia should be at the second summit,” the politician is quoted as saying in publication.
According to him, for this purpose by November it is planned to develop a certain plan at meetings in different states, journalists indicated.
The day before, Responsible Statecraft correspondent Blaise Malley wrote that Ukraine admits the possibility the beginning of peace negotiations with Russia.
In June, Vladimir Putin made new peace proposals to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, providing for recognition of the status of Crimea, DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions as regions of Russia, consolidation of the non-aligned and nuclear-free status of Ukraine, its demilitarization and denazification, the abolition of anti-Russian sanctions. The Ukrainian side rejected the initiative.
