SIMFEROPOL, July 16 A landscape fire in a ravine between Lyubimovka and the Mekenziev Mountains in the vicinity of Sevastopol has been extinguished, the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the city reported .
Grass caught fire in the vicinity of Sevastopol on an area of about four hectares, city governor Mikhail Razvozhaev said in the afternoon.
«The fire in the ravine between Lyubimovka and the Mekenzievy Mountains has been extinguished. It was completely extinguished at 8:55 p.m.,» the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
Experts are determining the causes of the fire, the Ministry of Emergency Situations clarified. Wildfires have been recorded in Sevastopol for several days in a row. A special fire-prevention regime has been introduced in the city.
