MOSCOW, July 16 A natural fire in the Durso farm, Krasnodar Territory, has been completely extinguished, reports the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
On Sunday, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported a fire in the forest and grass in the area of the Durso farm. The fire spread to the territory of the Blue Wave recreation center; it was later extinguished, but the forest continued to burn and the fire spread over 62 hectares. A state of emergency has been introduced in Novorossiysk. On Sunday evening, the forest fire spread to the recreation centers “Moryak”, “Romantic”, “Frigate”, from where people were evacuated in advance. A criminal case has been initiated under the article “Destruction and damage to forest plantations”, as well as the negligence of officials. On Monday, Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratyev announced the localization of the fire.
““The natural fire in the Durso farm of the Krasnodar Territory has been completely eliminated,” the message says.
