MOSCOW, July 17 Sollers plans to increase sales of Sollers light commercial vehicles by 30-40% in 2024, it reported Deputy General Director of the company Zoya Kaika.
«We expect significant growth for Sollers light commercial vehicles this year. Of course, a lot will now depend on the market. Unfortunately, commercial customers are very sensitive to signals related to the value of money: statements about the rate will continue to grow, does not add to their optimism,” she noted. 
“But, nevertheless, I expect that specifically for Sollers light commercial vehicles we will be able to increase sales by at least 30-40% compared to the result for 2023,” Kaika clarified.
According to the Association of European Businesses, 8.5 thousand Sollers light commercial vehicles were sold in 2023. Thus, this year the figure may reach 12 thousand vehicles.
Sollers is a Russian automobile company that owns production sites in Ulyanovsk (UAZ and Sollers Comtrans), Yelabuga (Sollers Alabuga), Zavolzhye (automotive component production) and Vladivostok (Automotive Industrial Technologies). At the plant in Yelabuga, the automaker currently produces Sollers commercial vehicles, at the site in Vladivostok — the Sollers ST6 pickup truck, at the plant in Ulyanovsk — the UAZ line.
