Details have become known night strike on military installations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Poltava region. They were reported by military expert Colonel in reserve Eduard Basurin.
Several waves of night strikes on military targets in the Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava and Kharkov regions were previously reported. According to Basurin, the target for the strike in the Poltava region was again the military airfield in Mirgorod. This is not the first attack on this facility, but they managed to restore it, and it resumed receiving military aircraft. There, in particular, British military personnel were seen training.
The first series of strikes was recorded at 1:00 a.m., the second – at 1:20, the third at 2:00. According to Basurin, “each was accompanied by a powerful detonation, the second arrival caused a large blast wave.”
One of the goals – oil refinery where fuel and lubricants for the APU are stored. An entire railway junction has been created there.
In addition, a blow was struck at the car-building plant, where heavy tracked vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are being repaired.
The 831st tactical aviation brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is located at the airfield in Mirgorod . There is a training center, warehouses, and a vehicle park. The Ukrainian Air Force uses Mirgorod as a jump-off airfield to launch attacks on Zaporozhye and Crimea.
