MOSCOW, July 17 The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia proposes to prohibit retail chains from collecting remuneration from suppliers of eggs of the first and second categories — this should increase the availability of such products for buyers , the agency reports.
It notes that the trade law allows for the inclusion in the price of the contract of remuneration that the supplier pays to the network for the purchase of a certain amount of food products. However, retailers are prohibited from collecting such remuneration from suppliers for the sale of certain socially significant food products, the list of which is approved by the government of the Russian Federation.

"FAS Russia proposes to supplement this list with chicken eggs of the first and second categories. This will allow manufacturers to reduce costs when supplying products, which will help reduce prices for socially important food products and increase their availability for consumers,” the message says.
