MOSCOW, July 17 The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia will require oil companies to present an economic justification for the increase in the wholesale cost of AI-95 gasoline; it is also recommended to increase volumes sales of AI-95 gasoline on the stock exchange against the backdrop of seasonal demand for this particular brand, the FAS press service reported.
“»The FAS will send a request to oil companies with a requirement to provide information on the economic justification for the increase in the wholesale cost of AI-95. The issue was discussed today at the department's Exchange Committee,» the message says.
«It is also recommended to work to increase sales volumes of AI-95 on the stock exchange, since there is currently a seasonal increase in demand for this particular brand of gasoline,» the department adds.
